Yes. New-business work is a core part of the practice: LLC and entity formation, registration with local and state authorities, business plans, EINs, books, and a first-year tax calendar. We do not hand you a form and disappear.

Do you prepare S-corp and rental property tax returns?

Accepted Answer

Yes. S-corporation returns, reasonable compensation, payroll, Schedule E rentals, and passive-loss reporting are a core part of the practice — not add-ons.

Do you work with clients in Monroe and West Monroe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The office is in Columbia. Clients come from Monroe, West Monroe, Ouachita Parish, Winnsboro, Jena, and the rest of the North Louisiana corridor. Remote work is available when the files support it.

I am behind on the books. Can you still help?

Yes. Catch-up and cleanup is how a lot of engagements start. We get current, then we decide what ongoing bookkeeping and tax planning should look like.

Do you only do full-service, or can you just prepare the returns?

Accepted Answer

We can prepare returns only. The better result is usually year-round work — books, estimates, and a plan — but we will not force a package you do not need.

That is a core part of the practice: S-corp compensation and payroll, rental real estate, passive activity rules, and how those pieces show up on the 1040.

After a consult we quote based on the actual work — entity count, bookkeeping condition, payroll, and returns. No website calculator pretending every business is the same.

Do I need to come to Columbia?

Many clients are in Caldwell Parish and the Monroe area and meet in the office. We also work remotely when the files and the conversation are enough.

How long does onboarding take?

A clean set of books can start in a couple of weeks. A multi-year cleanup takes longer. We will tell you which one you have before you sign.

Yes. New-business work is a specialty: Louisiana LLC or other entity formation, Secretary of State filings, local occupational licenses, EIN, a usable business plan, and the first-year books and tax calendar.

Yes. We write practical startup plans and projections a bank, a partner, or the owner can use — not a 40-page template downloaded from the internet.
